    Wi-Fi Signal Strength RT-AC86U v RT-AX88U

Impressive... but I was observing the same "weak" 2,4ghz signal... although others seem to denie it. My question is now - until asus get this fixed (if that ever happens) - which firmware is acutally the best "blend" of both signals. I red .12, .13 and .14 ... so - If I want a good 2.4ghz...

    Wi-Fi Signal Strength RT-AC86U v RT-AX88U

But this is the really interessting part - "what you getting out is now even better" - I wonder what is your specific use case - I mean, ok - you obviously have no impact but to claim it's even better seems off to me (always talking about the 2,4ghz band...)

    Wi-Fi Signal Strength RT-AC86U v RT-AX88U

It is a also a matter of personal usage if you are "effected" - maybe many users who bought a "machine" like a AX88u primary use the 5GHz band, many others could have an environment where it doesn't matter if the devices which are connected have a rssi of -60dbm compared to -50dbm - both are...

    Wi-Fi Signal Strength RT-AC86U v RT-AX88U

I believe you Phil Outram ... I observed the same thing. L&LD could do the crosscheck by doing his same test setup with 384.14 ... outcome must be different than on 384.15 (even if this kind of "setup" is not supported - it's neither on 384.14 or 384.15) I think it doesn't matter WHY EXACTLY...

[384.15_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

If I think about it - I could have kept my AC86U because the "no-automatic-reboot"-issue would have been solved by "manual weekly reboot by cleaning lady" :)

[384.15_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

I can give an all-clear on the sudden reboot - neither the AX88u than the firmware is to blame - who is to blame is my cleaning lady  ...but somewhere the vacuum cleaner has to be plugged in. Mysterie solved

[384.15_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Swap is 512MB, USB is EXT4, disk checker script is not enabled; First I installed amtm, then diversion and at last skynet - right after I updatet diversion (+ list) - and I can't remember if I even rebooted the router right after - I don't think so. Since last week there were only two or three...

[384.15_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

An hour ago my RT-AX88U did an unexptected reboot ... last line before reboot is Diversion statistics complete ... just wanted to report because this happend the first time since I'm on .15alpha. Diversion, skynet and all the other tools are installed since one week. I think my last PLANNED...

[384.15_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

I meant in terms of slowing all other AX devices down because they have to wait for the n-devices to transmit and receive - just like these "airtime fairness"-features. But I guess - since nobody already shouted "o my god - how can you do that ..." I think it is ok. thanks again

[384.15_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Now I know why I didn't see this message before. Since yesterday I own also my first AX Device - and it seems this DFS ISM is "always on" when a AX device is connected. Right now I'm at work, no AX device online - so the DFS Status is "idle" Makes sense... I know it's maybe not the right place...

    Thanks for the quick clarification!

[384.15_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Hi! Since yesterday I'm proud owner of a RT-AX88U, I have everything configured so far - with merlins alpha - only one question - because I could be wrong but I think yesterday I hadn't that problem. My 5GHz WIFI setting is manual on channel 48 - and today since a few hours (!) the DFS Status...
