    378.56_2 on RT-N66U insanely slow... :-(

    I also seemed to have performance issues I couldn't quite pin down on the latest Merlin and official with my N66U. I tried John's fork and it seems back to normal and slightly better reception. One issue seemed to be gaming where I'd have lag but good ping and slow web interface sometimes.

    Merlin's 378.55 is pretty stable for me on my N66U and would do what you're wanting.

    Check your Firefox permissions. I had an issue where the VPN page wouldn't load, it'd give me the login screen so I deleted permissions.sqlite in my FF profile folder. That seemed to fix that issue for someone else also though yours seems a bit different. Might try deleting your cache.

    I had this issue also on Firefox 42 and the VPN page that I also posted about here. I finally found out that I had to delete permissions.sqlite in my Firefox profile folder. It took time to disable extensions and delete random files in the profile folder but found out it was a permissions issue...

I checked and changed permissions through the FF interface, which was a no-go, until I just deleted and undeleted files one by one in the profile folder until something worked.
