Upgraded my RT-N66U to the latest build 378.56_2. When I click on the Guest Network tab, I see a quick error in the browser URL (firefox 42) and then it redirects and end up on the Main_Login.asp page. It happens so fast I can't see what it is. Everything else in the admin seems OK.

Okay, I thought the RT-N66U was not supported in either the 378.56 or 378.56_2 because Asus hasn't released updated source code for this model yet. I may be dumb as a stump, but if I'm right on this issue why hasn't' Merlin stepped in on the numerous threads complaining about RT-N66U performance with 378.56 firmware?

378.56_2 was released for the RT-N66U earlier this week, as Asus finally published the 378_9235 GPL code.

I no longer comment on wifi performance comments, because it's outside of my control anyway, and everything that could be said already has.

Same thing is happening on my RT-N66U. I get redirected to the login page several seconds after clicking on the client map or list.

Tools -> Sysinfo is now showing HW acceleration - Enabled.

Is this normal?

Not seeing anything like that here on my n66u, did you do a wipe or just straight upgrade?

Straight upgrade from 378.55.

Maybe I should try disabling and clearing IPTraffic, then enable it again? Or do we now have HW acceleration enabled with IPTraffic?

The client map / list seems to log me out when it starts to identify devices.

Log shows this:

watchdog: restart httpd
rc_service: watchdog 251:notify_rc start_httpd
httpd: start httpd - SSL

I had this issue also on Firefox 42 and the VPN page that I also posted about here. I finally found out that I had to delete permissions.sqlite in my Firefox profile folder. It took time to disable extensions and delete random files in the profile folder but found out it was a permissions issue that couldn't be resolved using the built-in Firefox options.

You're not keeping up with releases. 378.56_2 was released as supported. Previous Merlin did not even released a 378.56 because of the non-release of ASUS code. I don't understand why you think my issues was about performance. It has nothing to do with performance. The problem as stated was part of the Admin interface (Guest Network tab) does not work and errors out back to the logon page.

Thanks JEFF288! That also fixed my issue with the the Guest Network close. Very weird why that would cause this now. Thanks again for the tip!
