[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Back on 42E7 and if memory serves me clients had IPv6 addresses but no IPv6 connectivity only IPv4. Clients IPv6 default gateway was blank, IPv6 DNS settings were present. I was considering changing the routers mac address to see IPv6 connectivity could be restored but can't afford the testing...

Welcome back John, you have been missed! 42E7 stress test working well on RT-AC68 DoT seems a little snappier than 41EA with Cloudflare

From 41E3 Changelog * FIXED: stubby: re-add getaddrinfo workaround for MIPS dropped in last release I have an AC router running 41E6 and DoT works fine but I believe with this fix it also works on the N66U with 41E6

Just loaded most recent RT-AC68U firmware 40EDj9527 Everything seems to be working OK including DoT with Cloudflare By the way recently upgraded to gigabit internet 1000/35 from my ISP and router is handling it quite well. Thought I would need a newer/faster router CPU but was pleasantly...

I believe I had a similar problem using port 443 with TCP. Changing the port number to the 119x range worked for me.

All of John's 40Ex releases have been working great with DoT on my RT68 As a workaround try using 216.239.35.0 (google Public NTP server) for your primary NTP server

Quite a few changes in the change log from V39. Working fine on RT-68U....web browsing seems snappier with DoT and Cloudlflare! Hope to see John9527 back on the forum soon!

RT-AX88U Beta Firmware posted. Supports WPA3 and OFDMA

I also have a Lenovo Flex5-1570 and I changed my wireless card a month ago from an Intel 8265 to an Intel Ax200. I think your Lenovo needs to have an Intel Gen 7 Processor or newer to upgrade without the BIOS whitelist. Don't know if this applies across their product lines but it works fine with...

I have to second the performance improvement. Samba performance is what is was before release 37E9. Can't tell from the changelog what change is responsible for Samba share directory reads of 10000+ files to be 3x faster than the previous release.

All the clients are Win 10 that don't support SMBV1 for some time now. I have been using SMBV2 only option since it was introduced some time back

I thought it was speed a speed detection problem but was mistaken. A single file 3gb in size transfers @40MB/s over wireless so that's working as USB3. I guess my problem is the Samba share has over 10.000 files mostly small in size and enough to cause the file copy utility to choke somewhat...

Syslog after insertion of USB drive after reboot. It may look OK but it takes 6x the time to transfer from router to Win 10 machine using FastCopy utility program. Tested with 3 different Win 10 boxes both wired and wireless. Also put USB stick in USB2 port and had identical results! I have...
