    OpenVPN policy routing guide?

Thanks for checking this out Merlin. Good thing it works on your side, hopefully you can help me achieve the same. So I did #1, #2 too (I created a file init-start in /jffs/scripts and chmod'ed 755), what would you suggest to add as #3?

    OpenVPN policy routing guide?

Merlin, this is on the list of fixes for the new release, right?

    OpenVPN policy routing guide?

The guy most certainly deserves/d it! ;) (though I can't wait for him to work his magic:D)

    OpenVPN policy routing guide?

Yes, I contacted Merlin with a message. His reply: Well have to have just a little patience :)

Yeah I see what you mean. Could that be causing the problem? Done, the results are: ASUSWRT-Merlin RT-AC68U_3.0.0.4 Fri Jul 17 03:17:04 UTC 2015 Erwin@RT-AC68U:/tmp/home/root# ip rule 0: from all lookup local 32766: from all lookup main 32767: from all lookup default...

    OpenVPN policy routing guide?

The forum software reports "The requested attachment could not be found." One difference between yours and mine is that there are two extra lines in mine "Removing rule 1001 from routing policy" and "Removing rule 1201 from routing policy". I've attached my full system log file. Yes, I deleted...

    OpenVPN policy routing guide?

Done. At least... if you mean clearing the table with the Routing Policy GUI entries. BTW, Firewall is set to 'Automatic' and Create NAT on tunnel is set to 'Yes'. Nope :( All traffic goes via VPN1. ASUSWRT-Merlin RT-AC68U_3.0.0.4 Fri Jul 17 03:17:04 UTC 2015 Erwin@RT-AC68U:/tmp/home/root# ip...

    OpenVPN policy routing guide?

Thanks Martineau, I've decided to start clean and updated firmware to 378.55. I removed the openvpn-event and firewall-start scripts. The GUI is setup with two VPN clients, both are up and autorunning after reboot. Redirect Internet traffic is set to 'Policy rules'. No entries are in the 'Rules...

    Selective Routing with Asuswrt-Merlin

Nope, we're paid for the results we make, not for the time we spend. And sometimes we've to wait for others to come through, then we either go out for a meal or catch up with home.

    Selective Routing with Asuswrt-Merlin

I know you're kidding! (and so was I) ;) I followed up on your post telling that; I want to be able to selectively rout ports. I haven't laid out the complete network, not to make things more complicated than they already are. But to shed some light: I have a few applications (that use a unique...

    Selective Routing with Asuswrt-Merlin

I noticed janosek is trying to achieve the same, as are a few others. But haven't seen any replies, does that mean nobody knows or nobody cares? Anyway, I found this post, where the guy has achieved the same that a couple of us are after. Unfortunately it's for DD-WRT and not AsusWRT...

Hey cypher, I just read your post on setting up 2 VPN clients. Were you able to get it up and running? You wrote you had trouble getting it to drop the network when not connected to the VPN, did you manage to fix it? I'm trying to achieve the same, but noticed our questions remain unanswered...

    OpenVPN policy routing guide?

Ok, I wasn't very clear, you're right, my bad. Aside from selective VPNs, I also wish to selectively route ports: 587 and 4243 over WAN, my transmission ports over VPN1, 443 over VPN2. Could you please take another look at the partial script? Thanks, Erwin

    OpenVPN policy routing guide?

So when I add this to my original openvpn-event script, which is(partially shown here as the rest is from Merlin's wiki) : ip route flush table 100 ip route del default table 100 ip rule del fwmark 1 table 100 ip route flush cache iptables -t mangle -F PREROUTING ip route show table main | grep...

OpenVPN Client - Routing Certain IP Addresses Only

Am I correct that 'Virtual Server / Port Forwarding' settings do not apply to traffic over VPN (those specified in the policy rules in 'OpenVPN Clients')?

OpenVPN Client - Routing Certain IP Addresses Only

Oops, my bad. I thought was replying in the thread I started on selective routing: http://www.snbforums.com/threads/selective-routing-dns-servers-and-opening-ports-with-openvpn.23225/#post-172273 I don't want to hijack this thread (perhaps a mod can cut and past?) but a short reply back on...

OpenVPN Client - Routing Certain IP Addresses Only

Yes that was my objective too and I succeeded. You can find the results of my quest here: http://www.snbforums.com/threads/selective-routing-dns-servers-and-opening-ports-with-openvpn.23225/#post-172273

Selective routing, DNS servers and opening ports with OpenVPN

Objective: even though the VPN has gone down, no traffic is allowed to go over WAN except for ports 80,443 and 587. In all cases the DROP rule does work! However, not any traffic whatsoever was allowed. What didn't work:LANIP=$(nvram get lan_ipaddr) SUBNET_PREFIX=`echo $LANIP | awk 'BEGIN { FS =...
