Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.1 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

Do you mean anything to do before the next update? Not really that I can think. You can run the unmount command to be sure your temporary fix is disabled and then do the update. { umount /www/DNSDirector.asp && echo "UNMOUNTED OK" || echo "UNMOUNT FAILED" } Delete the temp file from the JFFs...

Compatibility Findings with AddOns with GT-BE98 Pro

I know Martinski has been working on addressing the "missing vertical scrollbar" issue found in some add-ons webGUI when loaded on the latest 386.14 F/W release. However, I can't tell if @Adamm is actively working on the issue as his repo appears to be without a "dev" branch. I can only assume...

Martinski is too good, giving you all the tricks! And just to be 100% clear, "SCRIPT_BRANCH" being "Master" is the stable branch. if "SCRIPT_BRANCH" says "dev" then you've managed to find your way onto the development branch.

As long as you did the forced update your on stable. I've changed things back around in the dev branch, so if you were on dev, you would see version 1.2.7 available instead of 1.2.6 If you run the dev commands now, it would download v1.2.7 in development.

Just as a friendly reminder to users: Due to the previous mistake (mentioned above) while deploying MerlinAU 1.2.6. I had switched things around in the "dev" branch. Mentioned here below: This was so a user who "force updated" normally through the regular menu, would end up on the "main"...

No worries, I figured you may have missed that post. Happy to know it's figured out. We did change the default cron, but didn't change people's cron that were already set so you would of had to manually update the cron to a daily schedule. Once the cron is set daily, you'll notice the...

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.2.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (**Thread closed due to age**)

Yes we can surely make that option a bit more user friendly. Our concern was a USB being configured which then died without the user being aware. In such a situation we didn't want to auto-select something for the user, we wanted them to fix the path or the USB to continue. But surely we can...

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.2.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (**Thread closed due to age**)

Yes without the USB at install it defaults to that location (home/root) but we leave the choice up to the user where they would like to store the files, both on the USB and without a USB. What your seeing is normal to what I can see in the code if it's configured for a USB path and that USB is...

"None" is not a valid choice. Where do you want it to store the Firmware file? If it's not on the USB, you must pick a local path, such as: /home/root/

Please include higher resolution screenshots from a computer , or zoom in if possible. The forums lose quality, and I can barely read anything. ZOOMING in as close as I can, it looks like an 8, not a 0. Also, check your CRON schedule under the advanced options. (ad)

    YazFi YazFi on GT-BE98 Pro

I haven't made any modifications to existing reservations, just that the import of DHCP reservations and the webUI are functional on the dev version. What type of issues when editing reservations?

    YazFi YazFi on GT-BE98 Pro

Works fine if you use the dev version: /jffs/scripts/YazDHCP develop /jffs/scripts/YazDHCP forceupdate

GT-BE98 Pro AiMesh with GTAXE16000 Lan/Wifi random dropouts

I mentioned in my post here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/asuswrt-merlin-3006-102-1-is-now-available-for-wifi-7-devices.90788/post-917550 I have the same issue with my GT-AXE11000, and MLO IS disabled. 6GHz still does not broadcast. So it's not related:

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.1 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

There is little point, most settings are unavailable, for example this is the "professional" menu: I consider it mostly a view-only operation, I wouldn't recommend trying to play with many settings in the WebUI of the node.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.1 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

You are not alone, many of us are struggling with AiMesh, give ASUS some time to workout the bugs. I may as well add my expierence here. I'm using a similar setup with AiMesh with a GT-BE98 Pro as the primary running Merlin 3006.102.1 Secondary is a GT-AXE11000 running Merlin 300.4.388.8_beta1...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.1 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

Sounds like the router is toast. Did you try what someone here suggested and use the tftpd software instead of the Asus recovery tool? It's been known to act slightly different to the Asus recovery tool to PUT the firmware on the router once in recovery mode. (Although not as user friendly)...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.1 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

    1. Download the DNSDirector.asp file. 2. Modify the file as desired. 3. Copy the modified DNSDirector.asp file to your /jffs/scripts directory. Call it DNSDirector_NEW.asp 4. Set the file permissions to rwxrwxrwx (0777) 5. Run these commands from SSH (including the brackets): { mount |...

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.2.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (**Thread closed due to age**)

Hey everyone! My apologies, with the change to allow development and stable branchs of MerlinAU mentioned above, there was also a change in release procedure, which I missed on the last release of 1.2.6. This means anyone that updated to 1.2.6 will be receiving updates from the dev branch. (the...
