Hey,
Just reporting some issues with YazFi not being updated yet for GT-BE98 Pro
So far what Ive noticed:
1. Web page inaccessible - because the GT-BE98 Pro uses "Guest Network Pro" and not "Guest Network" page, there is no YazFi tab
2. Missing networks - my GT-BE98 Pro is using wlan slots such as 3.8, 1.7, etc, that are not handled yet by the script. Only 1.3, 0.3, etc work, but nothing beyond X.4 used by GT-BE 98 Pro

Have some patience, the firmware you are running on this router is still in beta.

What Yazfi features do you need that aren't already supported by Guest Network Pro?

Trying to print from guest network - I think I can do it with an IPTable rule though.
Also changing whether the guest network can access intranet 1 way vs 2 way (I think you need YazFi for 1 way)
It isnt doable in YazFi either, but would love to be able to set the DHCP server for a guest network as well

Guest Network Pro does that.

Networks should be either isolated or not. Having it "only partly isolated" makes little sense in terms of security.

Personally, I wouldn't hold my breath for an updated YazFi. Guest Network Pro is a major change over the original implementation, so it will require some major changes in YazFi to be fully compatible with it.

@p1r473 there is a main discusison thread for YazFi where people discuss issues with YazFi 4.x:

As Rmerlin explained in the Asus-Merlin 3006.x threads, addon scripts likely have to be tweaked or fixed to support the Asus-Merlin 3006.x firmware.

The developer of YazFi (Jack Yaz) is no longer taking an active roll in developing YazFi or YazDHCP. As such it is unknown if any fixes or changes will be made to YazFi (and or YazDHCP) to support the 3006.x firmware base. Another user @Martinski has done some tweaking of YazFi, but I don't know if they indicated the willingness to expend any possible time and effort to make YazFi work with the 3006.x firmware.

Guest Network Pro does many if not most of the things YazFi did. I found that I had to use the Custom Guest Network Pro option to configure it the way I wanted, and even then ran into some issues with Guest Network Pro. That specific feature likely will need additional fixing by Asus going forward. The few preset Guest Network Pro options for things like IoT just didn't work for my needs and were not very configurable.

Check each of the setting pages for Custom Guest Network Pro to see if you can change or disable the DHCP server. From what I remember when playing with 3006.x firmware on a RT-AX86U Pro there was an option to tie the Guest Network Pro clients to the main LAN DHCP server (which caused me issues). Maybe there is an option to configure your own DHCP server for Guest Network Pro clients.

Ah, I didnt know YazFi developer stepped away. Thats too bad!

In terms of the built in IOT network, I 100% agree with you. I disabled it and created my own custom IOT network where I could change more settings. All of the custom settings were not configurable on this network.

In terms of Guest Network Pro, I can enable/disable the DHCP server, but cant set the DHCP server - not a big deal, but was going to use a Firewalla as a DHCP server for my guest network only

I was able to solve the Guest network accessing my printer through an IPTable, so it works now! So dont require YazFi for that anymore

Posted some of my brief testing with Guest Network Pro (on a RT-AX86U Pro) here at this link. The limited configurability in my very brief look at the feature drove me back to using YazFi and Merlin firmware. If, and fingers crossed when, Asus-Merlin 3006.x gets released for more router models we'll hopefully have a better feel for what needs to be changed in YazFi or ways to bring various features in YazFi to Guest Network Pro through scripting.

FYI: YazDHCP also does not seem to work (just reporting my findings here) on this firmware/router. The DHCP table is empty when using YazDHCP, even when /jffs/addons/YazDHCP.d/DHCP_clients is populated

Works fine if you use the dev version:

Code:
/jffs/scripts/YazDHCP develop

Code:
/jffs/scripts/YazDHCP forceupdate

I still see some issues with adding/editing/deleting DHCP reservations through the GUI both with and without YazDHCP. I see that @RMerlin has committed a fix for the next drop of the 3006.102 firmware that might address the issues:

I haven't made any modifications to existing reservations, just that the import of DHCP reservations and the webUI are functional on the dev version.
What type of issues when editing reservations?

Click on Edit, and I see this:
