    Help - broken nas data recovery

    By the description it sounds that one of the drives may’ve failed in a strange way. I had a similar issue once with a Synology and 2 TB WD red drives in RAID5 mode. I managed to recover by removing one drive at a time and booting the NAS. This is a long shot, but it may be worth trying! Good luck!

    The fact that the issue only affects one computer suggests that the issue is there! Would you be able to create a secondary logon on that MBP? Logging on as a new user would eliminate the cache corruption as a possible cause.

    You can, but if you are switching between stock and merlin, you should also clear all settings. Upgrading to a newer version of the same branch usually can be done through UI.

    To put the router into Recovery mode: Turn off router. Turn the router back on while holding the factory reset button. When the power light on the far left is blinking you are in recovery mode.

    Either one should work. It is always better to use latest stable release. As for your issue with channel 0 - do a factory reset and try reconfiguring again.     Alienvault is the site used to check IP activity. It is added by @Adamm’s script for your convenience - just copy and paste into the browser! A bigger concern is the actual IP: 255.255.255.255 is a broadcast address. 0.0.0.0 is *any* IP address.
