    Enabled it to see how it goes. Leaves the AX86s with roughly 60mb RAM free. If you select withdraw from the Privacy section, does that automatically turn off/disable the AIProtection? Assuming it wouldn't continue to function afterwards?

    If the AX86 follows the same firmware as the others (3.0.0.4.388_23012) , their changelogs mention the following; -Fixed memory leak issue.

    I get that but it's just simpler to have two of the same brand linked and I can manage both in one place, plus the AX58 is WiFi6 and all the devices that were connecting to the re550 were WiFi6. Plugged in, setup and all up and running. Seems to be working well. Device came with a FW version...

    Well yeah, but at least I can keep the same SSID throughout and not have two different ones.

    Grabbed myself a RP-AX58 from Amazon, they've been out of stock for ages in the UK. Replacing a TP-Link RE550. Think the mesh system should work better than having two separate brands and connections!

    This isn't just a repeater though is it. Ties in with the AIMesh (if you have an ASUS setup) or can be used as an access point too. The RP-AX58 is £78 in the UK (When they have stock) and the GT-AX6000 is around £330 and the RT-AX68U is £150.
