    Thanks, but there is a great potential. CN alone has 800m internet users, given 1% needs V*N for facebook etc. that'd be device users. that could sell 8m Asus routers or others compatible. Given $100/y for V*N, that's $800m sales.. hmmm

    Hello all, does anybody use VPNs that have dedicated app for routers? my astrill has one for asus merlin, but i'm looking for alternatives, recommendations are appreciated!

    my iPhone 11 pro definately showed longer battery life with AX56U. And my mac (which doesn't support wifi6), is transmitting 1.5X faster than the 5GHz on my AC1900P - i'm assuming that it's due to higher transmitting power. but maybe i'm wrong

    Thanks Val D., tried quite a number of times now, but it doesn't seem to work.. i guess i'm stuck with T*r for now. it suppose to be secure, right? but might not be excellent for connecting me to Nintendo online server :p

    the AX56U is quite smooth, and i like the 2 sticks design, much simpler but quite powerful..

    Thank you all for the discussion. I have tried different ports over TCP and TLS crypt.. unfortunately they didn't work. Noticed that the new embedded T*R works, might that be going through different ports?? interesting to see that many v p n service providers app are working through desktop /...

    I really loved using Asus Merlin with my VPN provider. But my ISP blocked OVPN recently, and it seems that obfsproxy/stealth/wise would help to bypass such blocking. Is there any add-on or possible development on obfsproxy for ASUS-Merlin? thanks!!

    AX88U Firmware on AX56U?

    I've just got this new wifi6 compatible ASUS AX56U router. Finally getting strong 5GHz signal at 300MB/S.. but it seems it's not yet been supported by Merlin. Has anybody tried to load a AX88U firmware on AX56U? will it work??
