    EA-AC87 cannot connect to AC88U

    Figured it out... Changed channel of the 5G to 40 instead of the 140 it was on. This was a fix to get my SHIELD Tablet working, which resulted in a fix for the AP too. So good times all round if anyone else comes across this issue.

    Why use WRT Merlin?

    Ta all for your speedy replies... I may give it a bash tomorrow and see how it fares. I'm happy with stock firmware, so maybe the fixes that Merlin includes would be the winner for me.
