    oops i tried the update as usual but web ui not loading and usually it prompt to proceed as the screen was blank. Tried to refresh the page and nothing is loading afterwards. Internet is working but not what to do

    I upgraded to this new firmware but download speed is throttled to 10 Mbps and upload is fine. Something went wrong. Also on first boot login was denied and managed to get in.

    Thanks. Just wondering isnt r78k doesnt allow any bruteforce attack right. As recently i am seeing such attempts allowed by router luckily AV blocking for now. Isn't firewal built in should block such threats.

    It depends on which device you hit. Both on same IP then netgear will change to avoid conflict ie 10.0.0.x usually. you will see that notice. Immediately change to preferred other than modem usually 192 series. I dont get fios oNT and verizon router. It looks to be LTE modem. why two devices...

    Okay an update got the AP Speed difference is there instead of 867 Mbps now it connects at 1.2gbps . In Iper3 i get peak 756 and avg 690 ish to 730. I did the same with wifi-5 ac its hit max 550Mbps on ac . Since the iphone SE 2020 doesnt support VHT or HE i cant test the absolute max.

    I just noticed until WiFi 5 2.4 band on n only and bandwidth is based on modulation used max was 800 Mbps now ax support on both 2.4 and 5Ghz now axe support on 6GHZ would be quite interesting on range test when compared to ac wave 2 and ax 5Ghz vs 6Ghz

    To me it looks like you are ap or repeater mode i dont think it wise to turn off or system allows by default on that mode.

    Yes i did notice that. But 2.4ghz what would be difference when its ax and client is only 2x2 compared to N. Also when client can connect to 5ghz as most ax devices will support dual band it make sense as ax is more of throughput with range . It will be interesting to see difference though
