    @Martineau I'd be interested in looking at the functionality of vlanswitch.sh. I do have a switch that supports VLANS and it would be nice to be able to segregate some of the devices on my network.

    Sounds like you will have to hard code an 192.168.2.x IP on your PC/Laptop to access your modem by directly connecting to it. There must be other underlying issues if your router keeps loosing connection to your modem.

    New Asus Router Upgrade Recommendation

    That is a great router, discussions on this board lead me to purchase the RT-AC66U_B1 and I have been more than happy with it.
