Too many to choose from: You will just have to try them and see.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

For supported routers currently running ASUS firmware 380.3000 or above, or Merlin 380.60 or above, you cannot load this fork using the built in firmware update web interface. You must use the ASUS Firmware Restoration Tool from the ASUS support website to install this fork firmware. You must...

Very Slow downloads, speed normal upload on voxel firmware

Yeah, I have thought that as well. I don't like not having the option to disable the use of challenge questions on first set up.

Very Slow downloads, speed normal upload on voxel firmware

Did you actually open one up? It could just be "hijack" related stuff for the GUI. Not necessarily nefarious, could even be signed by Netgear.

    Update Modules R9000

Me? No, I am using a Synology RT2600AC at the moment. Haven't had too much stability luck with DD-WRT over the past couple years, really just staying away.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I would assume you likely ran out of memory and the router rebooted.

    Ad's triggering flash

    I'll keep fishing for one.

    Ad's triggering flash

Yes, I believe only mobile mode as that's easier for my smaller Nexus screen. And haha, I had to click through it again to get here and see you ask for a screenshot. Now it's quiet :-) I will be sure to snip it next time. It links to flv player in the Android store.

    Ad's triggering flash

@thiggins are your aware that some ad's are triggering the prompt for the installation of a third party flash player on Android? Very annoying when trying to browse around on mobile.

    Update Modules R9000

I see on Voxels entware repo, dnsmasq-full 2.77-12 is there: https://www.voxel-firmware.com/Downloads/Voxel/html/entware.html You may be able to install/upgrade it directly, but not sure what the outcome would be.

    Update Modules R9000

Ah, gotcha. He goes away from time to time (assume for work) for 10 days at a time. He is gone on one of those right now. But I am sure he will have comments on dnsmasq when he gets back and the recent flaws found in it. With that said, I am sure the options netgear are using are likely...

    Update Modules R9000

You must have breezed right over it :) Check out Voxels builds, he is doing just that (and offers entware support): https://www.snbforums.com/threads/custom-firmware-build-for-r9000-v-1-0-2-44hf-1-0-2-44hf-hw.41301/

    Synology RT2600ac Router Reviewed

Not to switch gears, but @RMerlin, did you ever write anything up on installing Suricata from entware?

    QoS on latest Voxel FW?

I notice the same too, but only on dslreports speed test. If I test on ookla speed test, then it goes to my max setting.

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.37SF

Thanks Voxel. For whatever reason, I thought you documented something about that out. I have a separate question. I am thinking of installing entware to gain a few packages. Is the unit compatible with Entware-ng repo? Or should we use your specially compiled repo, custom for cortex? I just...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.37SF

The banner of your shell session. Like "Welcome to Voxel firmware", or "DD-WRT V3.0" , or "OpenWRT" etc.... I think in our unix systems at work we call it the motd (message of the day), not sure what it's called on a router (I guess the same).

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.37SF

I can't find it in your readme guide. But @Voxel , didn't you write up at once point in time a small guide to be able to change the logon info when ssh'ing into the router? I swear I saw it..... somewhere....
