QoS on latest Voxel FW?

I'm using the latest Voxel FW on my R7800 and have done since I got it. I always used to have QoS on but since the last couple of versions I think I notice a different behaviour? On my 250/50 connection I always got full downstream speed even if QoS was on, at least if nobody else was using the connection at the same time. Now it always maxes out at 160-170 even if I'm the only one online. Anyone else seeing this? Was there a change in QoS recently?

EDIT: Forgot to mention, upload speed seems unaffected...

I notice the same too, but only on dslreports speed test. If I test on ookla speed test, then it goes to my max setting.

It’s probably the QoS trying to balance latency vs bandwidth and that can be different depending on the test server locations and some other variables. But overall I do like DSL Reports a lot better.

OOkla I believe just uses a multithreaded speed test which always makes everything look good generally. I stick to the Thinkbroadband's one, which does single and multi threaded tests and displays bufferbloat too. I find it much more reliable.

Thanks everyone, I'll try some different speed test sites and compare... :)
