386.2_2 - A new version of firmware is now available

Today suddenly the notice (yellow exclamation mark) appears that a new firmware is available. This little problem has happened several times, not bad but annoying ... :)

DDNS Service -- Which is best?

No problems here with selfhost.de, I switched there after my account at dyndns.com expired. I had problems with the Asus DDNS service. So now selfhost.de ... :)

[RT-AX86U] Merlin 386.1 - Unable to completely disable upnp

I cannot find this setting on my device (AX88U). Does the GeForce setting only exist on certain model series and what exactly does it do? Sorry, two questions.

Asuswrt-Merlin Aimesh Node Unable to set LEDs off FW386.1

Use the code below via ssh on the AiMesh node. This turns the LEDs off or on again. nvram set led_disable=1 service restart_leds :)

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

Thanks ... but the setting for the AiMesh node is meant. The setting you showed is for the router itself, which is of course also available for me. Anyway, thanks for the answer!

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

This setting (LED on / off button) does not exist on my AX58U even after a WPS reset (yes, the browser cache is cleared). Thanks @somms for providing the picture! :D Switching on and off via ssh still works of course (but it is not so convenient). nvram set led_disable=1 service...

Yes, this can be found in the WAN settings (and it works great).

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

Thank you again for this update! :) So, I then updated two devices (AX58U and AX88U) from 384.19 to 386.1. After flashing the new firmware, both devices were reset with the WPS button and reconfigured manually. So far, so good, everything is working properly and satisfactorily. The temperature...

Skynet "Elvis has left the building ... "

Reading this thread and this post makes me very sad. @thiggins @RMerlin Maybe I have not read it? Or is there a statement from the bosses of the forum about this? Sometimes you can change things for the better after the fact.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta is now available

At some point after the beta status is finished and the final firmware is released, does the beta need to be reset to factory defaults? :)

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

In fact, about 30 minutes later I have access again. However, I find such a behavior without appropriate documentation before the update strange, especially for beginners. :)

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

Thank you for your feedback. Well, I will try to wait an hour (even if It's hard for me), i don't have any active scripts currently and I haven't connected USB devices. Before the update, 384.18 was installed on the router.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

No chance after the update to access via WebUI and SSH on my AX88U. Have disconnected the device from power several times, even the modem, unfortunately no success. Do I really need to reset the router? (However, all clients have connected normally via Wifi.)
