    Solved Torrenting crashes the internet connection

    Wat? I can run torrents no problem off default settings. Jell I even crank the number of connections to 150-200 with 10 downloads at once with no issue.

    QOS on 1gbps network speeds

    I do not think QoS even works well at 1GbE speeds on these routers. Not enough horsepower. Actually, I think it is because you must shut off acceleration. With that off these routers max around 250MbE Not to mention kind of pointless if your ISP is as fast as your LAN.

    About to buy a GT-AXE11000 now that I have two 6E devices. Will still use it behind my current (RT-AC86U) router though till Merlin makes a firmware for it.     Change IP Adress In Firmware

    Could be worse. My RT-AC86U started out with 192.168.1.1 as the default then in some firmware it changed to 192.168.50.1. Got sick of rejuggering it every reload so i just redid all my IP's to 192.168.50.X. Considering I DHCP reserve all my IP's that was not TO bad.

    They have for a while (few years). Its why I always set the filter to shipped and sold by Newegg when searching.

    So I am to understand that this script is pointless for people with 1g/1g connections because it shuts off hardware acceleration? I already know shutting this off keeps me from maxing out my internet provisioning.

    Sounds like hardware issues to me. Considering tons of people are using the same model with the same firmware and not having any issues you being singled out can only mean this.
