    GT-BE98 Pro & 3 BE30000 - AiMesh Wireless Backhaul Dropping Packets Every 15 Minutes

I'm using ASUS firmware for now. Went back from RMerlin's 3006.102.1 firmware to ASUS firmware version (3.0.0.6.102_34491) for a reason that ASUS firmware allowed me to mix WPA2/WPA3 for MLO whereas RMerlin's firmware forces to WPA3 only. See the attached snapshot. And I'm using wired...

Asus GT-BE98 Pro - Lost Internet connection on wifi devices

ASUS won't do a cross shipment in advance for RMA. You should get RMA then download free shipping label and send your old router first. ASUS will replace with version 2.0 in a week or two.

Who’s using an ASUS WiFi 7 router directly from a 5 Gig or faster fiberoptic ONT?

You mean Eero max 7 as bridge? Yes, for a simple reason, Eero max 7 doesn't support a full fledged web portal. All you can do is to use the Eero app and setup it up as a router or a bridge. Pretty much useless :(. So, I configured Eero Max 7 as a bridge just to use the 10GbE/2.5GbE ports with...

Who’s using an ASUS WiFi 7 router directly from a 5 Gig or faster fiberoptic ONT?

I have the same 5Gbps frontier Fios internet GT-BE98 PRO as main router along with Eero max7 as bridge. The router's built-in speed test is buggy and I get only 3.5/2.8gbps down/up. But from my Mac or any other PC I do get 5.05/5.1Gbps.

GT-BE98 Pro AiMesh with GTAXE16000 Lan/Wifi random dropouts

I figured that there's a limitation on BE98 Pro router with MLO enabled. When you add GT-AXE16000 as an AIMesh node, if MLO is enabled on AiMesh Primary router, the node (AXE16000) without MLO will not broadcast 6GHz. WiFi. To enable 6Ghz, then you need to disable MLO, please go to...

Actually I don't know the differences. But the V2 weighs less. Probably Asus managed to reduce the heatsink size etc.
