    I had two running, 1 on 1194 UDP and 1 on 1194 TCP. Both had the issue. After reset back to 1 (the first), same issue.

    Yes. Configured DNS server on Synology NAS. Has been running like this for over a year, no issues before with VPN. Update: removed DNS on LAN but no change in the issue

    If you would have read correctly, the limits are very far away from the max thermal SOC design which is 125 degrees (you apparently did not check yourself :-) ) My router runs currently (and has been for 4 years) in a closed space (limited airflow), with an ambient temperature of 28/29 degrees...

    Please check the designed operating temps for this SOC. It will show you that these temps (80/85) are perfectly within critical boundaries... This discussion can also be found way back in the forum. If lower temps make you feel more comfortable, just improve the airflow to the router with a $5...

    5Ghz channel set to 36 but switches to 157(155) after some time.

    Got this strange thing on my AC68 with 384.4_x firmware: I specifically set the 5Ghz channel to 36, not AUTO (or 40, 44,48, 52 etc). After a while the channel changes to 157 (155) all by itself. Not all my devices can use 5g channels >100. And 2.4 is massively crowded here already. But how to...

    Cloud check offers a simple way of checking your broadband and devices' speed. But not really essential IMHO. Wouldn't miss it. Asus app also is not really essential (let alone the real time stats), so not a high priority issue :-) Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk

    Issue observed with a2 firmware on AC68u: Both the Asus Android app and Cloudcheck app seem to have issues connecting/reporting properly. Cloudcheck says it cannot connect a all to the router, Asus app does not show data packets and reports clients as disconnected. Anyone else have this...

    It's very hard to configure the router to be 'slow'. You might want to check your network setup. Or just do a reset to factory defaults on the router and set it up from scratch. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
