    Hello, So you need to create "openvpn-event" under /jffs/scripts create an "up.sh", with the code, modified to your host and password. on the command prompt, under /jffs/scripts, run "chmod 700 *" not sure what else you need.

    I think we should focus on issues that can be solved with scripts. For example WAN NAT loopback when openvpn client is active

    Even if you forced a DNS, you would still connect through the VPN. What you need is to selectively route around the VPN.

    Hello, Search for selective routing. I run my ps3, laptop and nexus 10 over vpn and desktop on WAN. be advised that nat loopback. AI Cloud will not work if the openvpn client on the router is active. these are open problems.

    NAT Loopback and OpenVPN Client

    I noticed that NAT Loopback doesn't work when the openvpn client is running. If I type my DDNS address into an app on a device connected to my network, it doesn't work while the openvpn client is running, but if works if I disable the openvpn client. Is there any solution to this? Thanks!

    Yes, works perfectly. I can selectively route devices on my lan to either the VPN or WAN, so my desktop that runs serviio routes out the WAN. Then I just port forward the serviio ports. on the other hand, openvpn and aicloud are both on the router and I can't figure out how to route them...

    I've decided to give up on trying to solve this. I will just buy a serviio pro licence for my desktop that by-passes the VPN client. As far as I am concerned, the fact that an active openvpn client breaks the AICloud functionality over the WAN should be considered a bug of Merlin's...
