    To be honest, I got lazy. RMerlin helped me get selective routing working reliably. I tried routing P2P over a swiss vpn, but the performance wasn't that great. Besides, now with US Netflix and Hulu Plus, I get most of what I watch, so no real need for P2P

    try a software openvpn client and see if you can connect. Just keep messing around d with settings. Try a factory reset as well and set everything up from scratch

    Hello, RMerlin updated OpenVPN to 2.3.0 in version 3.0.0.4.270.24. You will have to flash to a pre 3.0.0.4.270.24 to get a lower version of OpenVPN.

    Your best bet is to selectively route the CCTV and ftp through your ISP. you need to port forward the ports on the router and use iptables to tell the router to send any data through the ISP from those two services

    I am cautiously optimistic that this will solve the reliability issue of selective routing! I turned off the router and turned it back on and it worked the first time! I will give it some time. If it continues to work, I will put together a formal HOW-TO guide. Thanks again for that tip!

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.270.26 is out

    You could try hitting the factory reset button and setting everything back up again. I found that I had a massive slow down once when I upgraded the flash and factory resetting did the trick.

    That could help your selective routing issues. If it is not executable, then the router can't execute it on boot.

    Hello, First read the areas talking about JFFS and user scripts here: https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki You need WINSCP to transfer files and putty to SSH into the router You need to format the JFFS and enable SSH in configuration page.
