    JFFS ico file - RT-AC3200

    One of my routers is the RT-AC87U, it is on 384.13_10 Asuswrt-Merlin. I am still experiencing this problem. The file gets so big that scripts like nextdns just stop working. Maybe a script which runs periodically and checks for this file and deletes it would be the best solution.

    I disconnected everything. But I cannot even reset the router anymore. The power led is on but other lights never go on. I already bought a new router. AC86U

    In the last two weeks, for the first time, I had this problem where my router resets itself. Today, only the power button LED light is on, and I have difficulty to reset the router. This happened three times now. Did anyone experience this ? I am now thinking into buying a new router.

    Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.5 Beta is now available

    I am at the latest version but not beta. I am experiencing a problem with the wireless scheduler. As seen in image below it is not configurable. I am not sure if this is fixed in the beta version.

    So I contacted Asus Germany and they told me that they don't offer repairs outside of the warranty time. Which sucks big time. This will influence my future Router purchases, as I am not sure if it is a good idea to buy a expensive router. Anyway I suspected that there is a connector problem...

    I contacted Asus of Germany. I sent then a detailed explanation of the problem and what I tried already. Next step is to send them the router so they can check the problem and hopefully repair it.

    I did the above step by step. Hard reset 2 times my router. Unfortunately still it is not working. I guess this is a hardware problem as the Netgear Router works without problems. I will send it back to Asus. I hope the repair is not too expensive. ps. on Thursday I am getting a new modem...

    I tried that too. Did leave the modem overnight closed. Then turned on modem and after 10 minutes the router. Still the same problem.

    I tried you suggestion above. I put the old router and it is working. Than I took the Mac address and copied it in the Asus under the Wan settings. But still it is not working. This seems to be some kind of bug. I don't know what else to try.

    I changed the DHCP query to normal mode. But that did not help. I will connect the old router again and check the settings and check the MAC address. Then I will try your method. Maybe I will request a new modem from my ISP.
