RT-AC88U resets itself

In the last two weeks, for the first time, I had this problem where my router resets itself. Today, only the power button LED light is on, and I have difficulty to reset the router.
This happened three times now. Did anyone experience this ?

I am now thinking into buying a new router.

Some thoughts:
o any clues in the Log
o disconnect any suspect/damaged cables/devices (pets?)
o disconnect any rogue USB storage/device
o try another AC power adapter
o recommission the router
o buy a new router

I disconnected everything. But I cannot even reset the router anymore. The power led is on but other lights never go on.

This is the most troubled one in terms of reliability and support. It usually gets slower firmware updates.
