    I use 378.55 on my RT-AC87U, do I need to reset the router to factory default before I update to 378.56 ? Is the correct way to do it first to install the .56 version and then to do a reset on the router ?

    Thanks for the explanation. Well it is a RT-AC87U Router from Asus. And the creation of the Asus DDNS name was successful. I think that the problem might be on the Asus DDNS service, just as you said too.

    Sorry I don't understand what you described. What do you mean by "the MAC address has to be an ASUS one". I logged today again in my router and now there is no exclamation mark. The problem is gone.
