    configure 2 VPN client ?

You need to query Netflix to determine answers to my unknowns to you. Without that knowledge you will be forced to perform trial and error.

    configure 2 VPN client ?

Another unknown is how Netflix determines which of their servers your device connects to. If it’s solely based on country DNS and/or originating IP address then it should work, assuming your VPN provider will permit you to choose which of their servers to use. Yet another unknown is if Netflix...

Is it possible? (WAN Printer Bonjour)

Your RT-68U is cascaded off of a building shared network, so I believe you are double NATing. You state that the building router uses a 192.168.0.X network and your RT-68U uses a 192.168.90.X network. Further, you state "But from my private network Wi-Fi, my mac cannot automatically find the...

RT-AC68U running Merlin, how to monitor traffic with Wireshark?

My question is, why? Wireshark can read trace files from other sources, just not IPTraffic apparently.

    AC68U 100% cpu

It takes CPU cycles to post to syslog. How busy the CPU gets is dependent on the log entries per second as well as the nature of the cause for that entry.

    AC68U 100% cpu

Panel states that you are unplugged from internet. I suspect high cpu is due to router logging that fact to syslog.

WAN capped at 100mb help please! asus 87u

In the attached image I am interested in knowing what kind/make/model of modem your WAN connection is plugged into. Refer to #3.

WAN capped at 100mb help please! asus 87u

The panel you showed is the negotiated speed between the ASUS and whatever you are plugging the other end of the cable into. That negotiation is based on the capabilities of the hardware interface for each device and the perceived capabilities of the cable from each interface's perspective. The...

Suggestions on AC86U with two USB drives

What worked for me is to power off the ASUS, then remove the drive, do whatever, plug back into ASUS and power up.

Suggestions on AC86U with two USB drives

Since my last update I began having issues similar to what you reported. I contacted ASUS and got tired of their promises so I installed Merlin firmware. Since installing Merlin, I have had no issues with Time Machine. Here is the process I used: Formated 1TB hard drive using MacBook with HPFS+...

    QOS or no QOS

VoIP across a 600/20Mbps internet connection with other potentially high bandwidth demanding devices can be a challenge in terms of the internet connection and home network. I tried QoS on my home network but removed because my devices weren’t that starved for bandwidth. In your case, you may...

USB 3.0 Speeds Dropped 1/4, from 20 to 4.3 mbps

This is just a comment: In the design of a microprocessor driven widget that has multithread capability consideration should be made to what the design goals of the widget are. In the case of a laptop I would think fast I/O would be important; memory being number 1, then say hard drives number...

[AC86U] Wifi Speeds Lower Than Expect With 100Mbps DSL

This test is device to router to device using the same shared media. Placing the PC on the WiFi without knowing its WiFi capability as well as its WiFi speed tests to internet nullifies test. The original issue was: Using a Pixel 3 or any other device that has an active communications link...

[AC86U] Wifi Speeds Lower Than Expect With 100Mbps DSL

I use Speed Connect and have no issues though I have read several posts from people that don't recommend its use. I also don't use QoS because for me it actually slowed down my WiFi. Beside as a former network engineer I can say that the ASUS does not use true QoS (packet marking). QoS (called...

[AC86U] Wifi Speeds Lower Than Expect With 100Mbps DSL

Okay, back to the original concern WiFi speed. As you can see from your reply with the graphics, either iPad should achieve a speed closer to your ISP speed. I did notice that you do not have Smart Connect enabled but then you have done multiple tweaks. On my iPad I use an app called Speedtest...

[AC86U] Wifi Speeds Lower Than Expect With 100Mbps DSL

I see two iPads. The iPads are probably using two different WiFi chips (different mac address prefix) and are therefore probably different generations. The Tx Rate being less supports this. I suspect the Wafas-iPad may perform better. Does it?

    iPerf results with AC86U 5ghz

WiFi is a shared medium. Your test is interesting but doesn't take into account other WiFi activity. Additionally, there are other influencers such as the iPad itself. Today's IOS is multitasking as is the ASUS router itself. I don't believe you are doing anything wrong.

[AC86U] Wifi Speeds Lower Than Expect With 100Mbps DSL

From the main screen of the ASUS, from the Clients box toward the bottom and left of center, select the "View List" button. Here is my list: I have 200Mbps cable internet service. The point is that my WiFi speeds exceeds my ISP connection speed. I am using a AC86U. iPhones and iPads are 20ft...

Not able to access router login with MS EDGE

It goes without saying, Edge is the issue. In my opinion, the best web browser that supports multiple platforms is Firefox. IE (internet explorer) I believe has fallen by the wayside from a Microsoft perspective. Chrome has too many vulnerabilities. Safari works great for me on my MacBook...

    RT-AC68U slowing down wired connection

First, you have an issue on the Arris TM822 wherein it is only connecting to the ASUS at 100Mbps. That connection should be 1Gbps or 1000Mbps. The ethernet speed of the Arris is derived by end device (ASUS) auto-negotiation and cable. Yes, both the Arris and the ASUS are cable aware. Your...
