    First try your modem as primary source of internet. I'm more then sure that it just doesn't work with Asus router.

    RT-AC68U Dual Wan failback problem

    Dual wan is not touched by Merlin unfortunately. So he is not going to fix anything. Nor his firmware can affect dual wan. So it's only Asus' fault if smth works wrong with dual wan.. And you need to wait for Asus to fix it. I've got lots of problems with dual wan within last year.

    It didn't work at all with some older versions. Now at least something works - it's a great progress, but still too many bugs with dual wan.

    Started using dual wan setting with usb modem as secondary wan. And noticed a huge bug. There are no ip, dns, gateway etc. settings for secondary wan when you use usb modem. This means that when you use usb modem as secondary wan - it tries to get the same ip, tries to use same dns and so on -...

    Well it's kinda strange. Today when i turn off isp's modem power - so router sees no wan cable - it turns to secondary wan without any problems. And when i power modem back - router turns back to primary wan. So my problem is not with providers DNS for sure. My problem is with watchdog itself...

    Also noticed that usb-wan is using the same dns as primary wan does. It't kinda strange and 100% wrong. And i see no place to edit it. As for providers redirect - if internet is down - providers redirect is usually down as well. Thanx for your reply!
