    Thank you everyone. So I'm going to pull the trigger in the morning. The real question is 2 x WAP581 or 3x WAP581s? One in the Upstairs and one in the main room. Would I need one in the basement?

    I'm about to pull the trigger and buy 3 x Cisco WAP581 but I haven't found any good infomation on them... - Is the range better than the Ruckus R310? - Can I run each ap in different channels? - Demo of the menu and is it as simple (intuitive to setup)

    Bedroom 5 is right under the laundry room (one floor above). The house isn't built yet. I'm going to be talking with the contractor to make CAT6 Runs and 120V outlets in nice hidden spots for the router.

    Nice! Assume price is the same. WAP581AP vs Ruckus R310. The WAP581AP is the winner. So my setup would be Fiber Optic Modem/Router => 16 Port Switch => POE Injector > WAP581AP. and then another WAP581AP WAP581AP Disadvantage: 1) I can't mix and match and i'll need to buy another WAP581AP...

    Nice! Can I mix and match? Like adding a R510 on the same network? Or possibly Wi-fi 6 or will I need to replace everything? Does the Cisco WAP581 AP require a control or are they like the Ruckus and can run Unleashed?

    Hummm you are right. What about R310? it is -99dB sensetivity. It's missing the SmartMesh but I'm going to be hardwiring it. It's also 100$ vs ~200$ for the 510

    I didn't know about Ruckus. They are expensive retail but on eBay they are pretty reasonable. R310 = 150$ = Indoor 802.11ac 2x2:2 R500 = 70$ = Indoor 802.11ac 2x2:2 R700 = 70-100$ = Indoor 802.11ac 3x3:3 But the ZoneDirector is like 500$+... Maybe I can use a Zonedirector 1100 with an R710 ?

Does this mean if the internet is at 1G the max speed i'll get on wifi is 100mbps as it is limited by the controller?     100% I will be using CAT6/6A for backhaul. Now I'm looking at Orbi RBK50 vs Eero Pro. Do you know if any of them allows you to run same SSID but different channel so I don't have any crosstalk?

    Awesome! I like this TP-Link EAP225v2 but is there one that is not POE? I don't like the idea of running POE on CAT6A on 200-250ft runs. I'd rather have the CAT6A give only data and get power from a dedicated source. I guess you don't like any of the consumer grade mesh's like Google Mesh.
