    Rt-Ac86u Manual Assignment Hostname.

Neil62 seems like a simple reboot was all that it needed. I haven't put them all in yet but so far it's working. Interesting that after the reboot my complete manual assignment list disappeared. Thanks!

    Rt-Ac86u Manual Assignment Hostname.

Hi! Everyone, Just added the above today to complete my AiMesh network, along with my old Rt-Ac68u and Rt-Ac1900p. Everything connected well and wasn't really that difficult. I noticed that the Rt-Ac86u will not let me place a hostname. I have installed Merlins latest firmware 384.19 and I'm...

    RT-AC66U on the fritz!

Switched firmware back to stock with no problem. Will definitely try defaulting it again and it was my main router in a chain of four below. Adapter appears to be working fine but I'd definitely need a multi-meter to be sure.

    RT-AC66U on the fritz!

Just replaced it with a RT-AC68U.....Does anyone repair routers? I hate to just throw stuff in the trash. Connects to the internet just fine but when I try to connect anything to lan ports it takes a dump. Opened it up and caps look good. Any thoughts?

    Port Forwarding question, help please?

This discussion helped me a great deal. Removed all the erroneous porting from my main router for the game consoles. Two Xbox 360's and one Xbox One that my kids use. All are working just fine. Moderate Nat error on one but still connected to Xbox live and a recommendation to open port 3074...
