    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.44 is out

RMerlin made the switch from 43 to 44 on both the RT-AC66U and RT-N66U. Straight download all settings remain intact and wireless performance is stellar. In my environment 44 is even quicker than 43. Thanks!:)

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.44 Beta 1 is out

Rmerlin I'll take the bug fixing and security, over the increase in wireless performance. In my environment 43 is working well and I have purchased some cheaper routers to help with overall performance. Our house is just over 3,000 sq ft and trying to rely on one router was just never going to...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.44 Beta 1 is out

I personally don't have any demanding requests as some do. My favorite feature has always been stealth mode. I would usually upgrade as RMerlin improved the firmware and always looked forward to it. If the RT-N66U has finally reached it's conclusion that's Okay with me and as others have...

RT-N66U latest build 374.43 will not save settings

Any particular reason you can't use 1.2 ? I'd try it but now is not a good time I have a lot dialed in and all is working smoothly. The Family gets pretty upset when I keep tinkering with the network.:D

    RT-N16+RT-N66U

From what I've learned on this site a repeater will cause havoc with mac and in your case ip assignments. I have a repeater and it's a Belkin one that's causing similar issues. I'm thinking about trying powerline adapters and setting up a linksys router in bridge mode from my RTAC66U router.

    RT-N66U and Mac Id's

ColinTaylor wpa2 passphrase is what I'm working with and I'm unfamiliar with cmd line feature and access. I don't get to heavily involved in code and like things pretty simple if possible. Definitely prepared to learn something new though.

    RT-N66U and Mac Id's

Crazy I have a Belkin repeater on the second floor, that just might be the problem then. Never had this problem though when I switched from my Linksys routers to Asus.
