    RT-AX88U losing WIFI

what brand of iot devices? Theres an issue but its not solely with the asus firmware here. there isn't an ethernet driver update between 388.7 and 388.8 (these come bundled in the GPL) to alter the behavior of the switch.

    RT-AX86U Pro - Browser Crash?

no it isn't. Defective core or cache pipeline, RMA. Nothing triggers the radio to change state when browsing between configuration or logger pages, so if this does happen there is hardware corruption afoot.

    Release ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386_51685 (2024/04/15)

no it does not. icons were broken from from 386.51665 through to final release for ac68u and only fixed beyond 386_51997 in merlin. The custom icon is accepted and written to storage, but the Base64 file is never loaded by the client list UI

its a full system reboot, it unloads all services and then unmounts the nvram in 3 of the 4 cases, with the last being an actual crash.

    RT-AX88U losing WIFI

this is being caused by mac randomization, for very particular models of android phones. noted the S24's and 23's so far, hasn't replicated with S21's or 20's. it may be a problem with the android dhcp client service on these models.

    AX68U rebooting randomly

its in the log a few times, but its not not correlating to the logged rc_notify reboots, nor the sole case where it started dirty. D8:1F:12:66:13:7D is though.
  13. Squall Leonhart

    AX68U rebooting randomly

no it isn't. Roaming assistant requires more memory than the AX68U has available, I would suggest enabling a swap file.

    GT-AX6000 - Memory Leak? Hacked?

this is a myth fabricated by morons in the early vista days justifying systems with 4 or less GB ram, wasted ram is having 100% attributed to pointless processes that provide no benefit or function to the device. it operates just fine with them.

    Warranty RT-BE96U

You can cite the act in a court of law in your given country in small claims, not that asus will even turn up.

Ping Spikes with GT6 Mesh System

20ms spikes aren't normal on the average home wifi network on two static non moving devices, several wifi features introduced on AC/AX can provoke them though when clients of varying tech age are mixed into things, or when a particular device saturates WLAN<>WAN communications.

Difficulties maintaining 160 MHz channel bandwidth

    Not what i'm talking about.
  19. Squall Leonhart

Quick question regarding 160 Mhz and static channels

Yes it does, Apples pages aren't accurate. And because Apples pages aren't accurate, some people are unawares to the issues that the device has when 5Gh band is operating at 160mhz.
