    European WiFi 7 Devices

There's only one router that was literally crippled from full potential that I know of, and I actually have one, it's the TP-Link Deco BE95. This is sold as a BE33000, but for a long time 6 GHz-2 was locked/dedicated backhaul. So it was sold as a BE33000, but only gave you BE22000. Earlier...

    European WiFi 7 Devices

BQ16, BE98, they are both WiFi 7. They are just capped to the lower half of the full specified bandwidth... There's two sides to buying a "USA" spec router, will you then buy USA spec devices along with their "tax/import duty"? Sounds like an expensive headache. Just save your money and when...

    GT-BE98 Vs Pro model

6 GHz lower frequencies are available in EU: https://www.wi-fi.org/regulations-enabling-6-ghz-wi-fi

    European WiFi 7 Devices

Easier to wait, (as I am a GT-BE98 Pro owner with troubles). Wait until more positive posts come out at least, because ASUS does not warranty out of country/zone purchases, plus the hefty penalty you mention.

    GT-BE98 Pro & 3 BE30000 - AiMesh Wireless Backhaul Dropping Packets Every 15 Minutes

I have the latest firmware installed, but I used 2 betas provided to me in between the two firmwares (on the BE98 Pro). I have it in AP mode with AiMesh but with wired backhaul. My OnePlus Open phone does not get good speed from connection to the BE98 Pro, sadly...

GT-BE98 Pro SLOW using VPN on 2.5G ports

Yes makes sense, way more than enough. But I'm afraid I have no explanation for you what is going on...

    BQ16 Pro Quad Band

My WiFi 7 OnePlus Open gets higher speed (pretty much the full 9xx Mbps) from new to me RT-AX5400 but less from WiFi 7 routers, BE98 Pro/Deco BE95. Still can't buy a single BQ16 Pro sadly otherwise I'd order one...

    BQ16 Pro Quad Band

Sometimes I suspect the firmware is incomplete, or accidentally doesn't update certain parts when it's supposed to... If my routers were doing what you describe I would start with the oldest firmware (that you received them with), then incrementally upgrade them to the latest. Best of luck!

    Asus BQ16 speed

Thank you very much for checking. There's a few other methods for the various TP-Link lines but I went through them on my BE95 to no avail. (I guess that's the only way of confirming on Decos).

    Asus BQ16 speed

On the bottom of the unit there's a label and somewhere on it "Vx.y"..

    Asus BQ16 speed

I have a single BE95 as my primary router and GT-BE98 Pro and others as AP AiMesh. Would you mind sharing what Hardware Version number is your BE95? Thank you.

GT-BE98 Pro - setting up combined wired backhaul + wireless satellite?

Last I checked when MLO is enabled on the BE98 Pro it SmartConnects all four channels (implying all are included). I'm not able to procure a single BQ16 Pro to try them together, but it would be via wired backhaul. Currently the AXE16000 node has it's 6 GHz stuck as dedicated backhaul, turning...

    RT-BE88U IPv6 status

@WTOram I didn't see mention of (already) attempting a hard reset in your OP, which is why I mentioned it... 😬

RT-BE88U can the SFP+ 10G be used for LAN and DDNS in double NAT possible with ASUS stock firmware?

    The specs say any of the 4 1 Gbps ports can be used either as LAN/WAN, as well as the 2.5 Gbps port. Seems like you're set: I/O Ports 1 x 10Gbps for WAN/LAN, 1 x 10Gbps SFP+ for WAN, 1 x 2.5Gbps for WAN/LAN, 3 x 2.5 Gbps for LAN, 4 x RJ45 10/100/1000Mbps for WAN/LAN, USB 3.2 Gen1 x1 EDIT-...

RT-BE88U can the SFP+ 10G be used for LAN and DDNS in double NAT possible with ASUS stock firmware?

Instant Guard does not work in a double NAT situation, ie in Access Point Mode. DDNS may be disabled due to the detail explained below. (I was able to get Instant Guard to work for a while after switching from Router to Access Point but that stopped working after an update. I just switched...

    RT-BE88U IPv6 status

I'd try hard/factory resetting the router, then trying to set it up again. Sadly they did not list the model in any of the methods but all the other BE routers seem to be here: https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1039078/

    EoL RT-AC86U replacement

I convinced a friend of mine to split the cost of a 2-pack RT-AX5400 purchased at a (not so) local Micro Center. Happy with how it performs for the price. (Oops, replaced the RT-AC68U, not RT-AC86U).

GT BE98 or GT BE98 pro Firmware

Lower 6 GHz range is legal in Europe. Take a BE98 Pro to Europe and the upper/middle 6 GHz range is not. (The BE98 Pro has 6 GHz-1 and 6 GHz-2 representative of these).
