Beta GT-AXE16000 9.0.0.6.102_4856 New Beta Firmware Release Notes

Kinda sad that once a flagship device has been meted with 3rd class firmware support. I hope new wave of stable 3.0.0.6.102 firmwares drop next week. TBH, the AXE16000 is a redundant product when superior Wifi7 ASUS RT-BE96U exists which will get MLO support.

Release ASUS RT-AX88U Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_21514

Wifi 7 models are getting monthly firmware updates while the Wifi 6/6e Pro models haven't received a new firmware since June 2023. Some of the Pro models haven't even received 3.0.0.6.102 firmware. There is something funky with firmware versions released for ASUS RT-BE96U Date: 2023/08/22...

ASUS given up on ZenWifi XT12 Pro?

I think Asus has serious problems in their 3.0.0.6 firmwares and that's why they haven't updated firmwares of all their High-end Wifi6 and Wifi6e routers since 4-5 months. But it's 100% true that Asus is now concentrating on their just released or soon to be released "Alpha version" of Wifi7...

Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 - dual wan (failover : fiber + cellular box) + ipv6 (for "matter" smart devices and apple)

Dual WAN failover and fallback has historically never worked as intended. Best would be to avoid using it.

    9.0.0.6_102_4856 beta firmware for GT-AXE11000?

TBH Asus and broadcom could backport this VLAN support to all their current routers from 3.0.0.6 firmware. Having multiple VLANs is an essential function in today's world.

Asus AX88U Pro - stability and performance reviews from the owners?

These Pro models based on newer Broadcom SOCs are definitely more stable than their poor old cousins. However, the 3.0.0.6 firmware branch has GUI issues. Where you change one setting, router freezes or some random UI glitch happens. In that case, you have to reboot.

GT-AX6000 can't update firmware and other settings...need help

Have you tried ssh into router and passing command “hnd-erase nvram” without quotes? Then without doing anything, turn off the router from mains. Keep it off for few seconds and turn it back on. Then do the initial wizard and straight go for firmware update. I did exactly the same for my...

    It's time to buy RT-BE96U?

Overpriced beta product. I would advice everyone to stay away from 1st gen Wifi7 products.

ASUS TUF-AX3000 No Firmware/Security Update Since February?

TUF is generally a watered down budget brand and Asus neglects it most of the times. Current priority is to dish out firmwares for their Wifi7 products. All other routers can take a backseat.

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

Yeah Asus would have been forced to sell the earlier unreleased GT-BE98 version for dirt cheap rate because duh... which idiot would buy it if it doesn't have "Pro" in it's name? The "Pro" moniker adds a certain heft and enables Asus to price the router out of the market. On a personal note...

Release ASUS RT-AX88U Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_21514

Asus has already stopped caring about this Pro junk they have released. All efforts are concentrated on upcoming Wifi7 routers

Release ASUS GT-AX6000 Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_21514

The router itself is quite solid. If you change some setting, then the firmware starts crapping out and the GUI throws up random glitches.

Release ASUS RT-AX88U Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_21514

I reported all the issues 1 month back through router GUI. But it seems like Asus firmware engineers have been replaced by ChatGTP operated robots. No reply or anything.

Honest review of Asus WRT 5.0 (3.0.0.6 Branch)

@Amplifier You completely missed the point of this thread. Wait till you update to 3.0.0.6 firmware branch and you will know how unreliable your RT-AX88U Pro will get. Thankfully Internet and wifi connections are stable but everything else is in shambles.

Honest review of Asus WRT 5.0 (3.0.0.6 Branch)

Yes fully reset my router and set it up as new after updating to latest 3.0.0.6 branch. My findings in the first post are after that only.
