    RT-AC87U 2.4Ghz problem

    as i said on the other thread.. Just for you to try. disable the roaming assistant on all channels.. it solved several very strange 2,4 problems ( including wrong password, but that may be a coincidence) . You will find it at: wireless and then Professional. YMMV

    Just something to try. Disable roaming assistant on all channels. It solved a lot of strange 2,4 problems at my house. (found at: wireless, Professional)

    RT-AC3200 from the 384.12_alpha1-g4a8cd4ead5 i installed: RT-AC3200_384.12_beta1-g69e0eaefe1.zip 2019-06-07 34.4 MB after some hours several 2,4Ghz devices lost connection and refused to reconnect. Rolled back to the Alpha and everything works again.

    In the RT-AC3200 and this firmware it is NOT fixed! Still the same problems. Network list very unstable and unreliable!

    If you look at the Network map, "clients" view list.. there is information about the connection Under client status do a mouse over on the device and look at the connection.

    You try to help and i appreciate that, but when you read this topic you will see all kind of clean starts, 30/30/30, waiting for a day, reboots, restore, initialization etc etc.. It is not a problem with a bad update, it's something in the firmware making it allergic to some brand of Wifi stuff...

    just tried the waiting "trick" but to no avail. Restored the firmware to 384.3 and everything is working again. So there seems a guest problem with 384.4 and at least my rt3200.

    I will try that later this evening. (running a cloud backup now) Same problems here. Very strange problem. Changing the key worked for some devices nut not for others. Very unstable this way. Guest network only some devices do connect, most not.
