[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

alas, that's not the problem. I capitalized the nvram in this posting but used the lower case in the command. I used these commands: nvram set pci/1/1/ccode=#a nvram set pci/1/1/regrev=0 nvram set pci/2/1/ccode=#a nvram set pci/2/1/regrev=0 nvram set regulation_domain=#a nvram set...

Install Merlin over the top of DD-WRT

That's the problem with DD-wrt. it's packed with features but stability is not one off them. Merlin misses some features but it's stable and at the end of the day.. that's what counts for me.

RT-AC68U WIRELESS PROBLEM IF SSID IS HIDDEN

not really an answer but something to read: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/28653/debunking-myths-is-hiding-your-wireless-ssid-really-more-secure/ btw, never use a Hidden SSID in combination with mobile phones. They tend to keep trying to look for the SSID and as a result it drains the battery...

    DNS timeouts

There are several options to set your DNS. I see you have the Router as redirect set tot an external DNS Client>>192.168.1.1 >>> extDNS>> You could put in the opendns servers in your client dhcp settings (LAN) so they receive the DNS via the DHCP option. I.E: The OpenDNS nameservers are...

    3.0.0.4.374.42_0 dropping connections, PC only

Kjarret problem looks a lot like my problems. Random "no internet" connections on Intel AGN5100 card ( Dell XT2) and Logitech radio (not sure about the chipset) but no problems on other wifi devices. .42 firmware, AC66U Repair often solves the problem, but as with Kjarret not always. In the...

    Simplest Question Ever

additional tip. If you use opendns there's a possibility to block domains or ip adresses on the dashboard site. After a few days of use there's a history of visited sites and domains with a ranking. Every domain or ip you suspect can be disabled. If there are unwanted side effects, you can...

    wireless performance merlin builds

Recently i stumbled upon a discussion where the comparison between DD-wrt, Asus Stock and Merlin builds performance was questioned. Kong ( dd-wrt developer) showed iperf test results http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=159637&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=1050 So it would be nice...
