[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 is now available

Also occasionally 2.4GHz channel completely lost connection. All clients still showed normal connect symbol but couldn't access to the internet at all. Only a reboot would fix it. Is this a problem with this firmware version only? TiA

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 is now available

Hi Merlin & all, I'm having problem with DHCP Server page on AC3100. It takes more than 5-10 min to load all static IP clients on FF (they won't show up at all on Edge or Chrome). If I change anything I couldn't press Apply button. Looks like the button is frozen or smth. How can I fix it...

[Solved] Is it possible to keep old IP address after upgrading router?

It's the WAN IP address that was changed. Anyway I cloned MAC address as octopus suggested and it works now

Off topic, but anyone has any idea why my IP address changed from a public IP address to a private one (10.4x.xx.xx) after swapping to a new router? My cable modem is already in bridge mode. Thanks!

[Solved] Is it possible to keep old IP address after upgrading router?

I've recently upgraded to Asus AC3100 from AC68U. Everything works fine but my IP address changed to a totally different one. It messed up with several services that I'm using. I'm wondering if there is a way to keep the old IP address? Thanks!

    User NVRAM Save/Restore Utility (R26.2)

Hi John! Is there a list of NVRAM variables that I can use with your script somewhere? I tried to search but couldn't find it. Thank you!

Thanks guys! WAN address does show a public IP address. I should be good to go then There is no VPN/DDNS and yest the router is connected directly to the cable modem

Do I have a double NAT problem?

I've recently learnt about double NAT problem and tried to put my cable modem to bridge mode & left my router (Asus RT-AC68U) WAN connection type on Automatic IP. How do I know if I configured my setup properly? Below is the output from "tracert 8.8.8.8" if it would help. Thanks in advance for...

I'd look for it on eBay or Amazon. Try to buy from Top rated sellers. For example http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Original-ASUS-AC-ADAPTER-19V-1-58A-30W-AD82030-010LF-Black-Router-laptop-/121521086119?hash=item1c4b389ea7:g:5rQAAOSwiCRUkjCN

Hi @john9527 and all! Is there any easy way to assign static IP addresses to all clients (I have about 50 of them)? For example, supplying a text file with all the MAC, desired IPs & names to a script that can be executed? Thanks!

Yes N66 is an AP. Running the arp command on it returned nothing special (only 2 lines)

Thanks John! Indeed when I ran one of the command on N66U I got this cat: can't open '/tmp/var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases': No such file or directory I have never run any command line on these routers tbh. How do I re-create dnsmasq leases file then?

Oops I didn't see your post. Please see my edited posted with all the outputs above Yes they all show up correctly under network map Firefox and Edge. They both don't have Name column. It might help if I tell you how I setup my network: 1. AC68U is the main router. I gave all client a...

Stupid question: how can I run those command lines ? Thanks! Edit: found out that I need to enable Telnet both in Windows and Router's Administration > System. Belows are the outputs of those command lines from the main router (AC68U) not the AP itself (N66U). I removed all client names...

Thanks John! Strange thing is that it never happened before with 19E3 or earlier. And all my devices on the RT-N66U are constantly on and streaming videos 24/7
