I've recently upgraded to Asus AC3100 from AC68U. Everything works fine but my IP address changed to a totally different one. It messed up with several services that I'm using. I'm wondering if there is a way to keep the old IP address?

Thanks!

are you talking wan ip address supplied by the isp or lan ip address that served from the routers dhcp server

It's the WAN IP address that was changed. Anyway I cloned MAC address as octopus suggested and it works now

Probably you get new ip is that new roter has other wan-mac address. Try to clone to old one.
WAN => WAN - Internet Connection => Special Requirement from ISP => MAC Address => MAC Clone
