    Scribe Scribe / syslog-ng re-load question

If memory serves me correctly, skynet clears out the blocked syslog entries on a regular interval. If this is something you want to keep you need to send it off to a syslog server. Only the most recent logs will remain after every restart. Suggest you look at the Purge_Logs portion of the...

Skynet Skynet not blocking any inbound IPs, but blocking some outbound only

Your problem is that your modem/router before the asus router is performing NAT. All traffic from the device will look like internal traffic. The ASUS rotuer will need a routable public address (to make it simple) for it to be able to block incoming traffic. Its like you have an internal only...

    Skynet skynet amazon sidewalk blocking

My closest neighbor's router is always switching to my WiFi channel.

Stick with 5ghz ssid. Most routers will stick to what is it 1, 6, or 11 for the 2.4 ghz band? Its not a very broad spectrum and has longer range. Chances are almost always 100% that someone else will be using it in any area that has any decent level of population. Also, are you sure its your...

Amazon Sidewalk - What do you think?

I will be blocking this as soon as we reverse engineer its connectivity. May have to stop using amazon all together as a result. This is not the same thing as internet provider using their bandwidth to provide local hotspots. The bandwidth up to your home is theirs to begin with and you...
