IPSec VPN server only 1 client active at the time

I have the IPSec VPN server running, I can connect from iPhone and macOS without any problem, but when I am already connected from 1 client, and I connect another client, the first one will disconnect, is there a limitation on the server to have only 1 active client at a time? Thanks

Regarding the Remote Access Config and to Enable Access Restrictions

Let me rephrase my question, from the Asus RT-AX86U perspective, which VPN Server is better to use OpenVPN or IPSec? Mostly from the perspective for CPU utilization and load to the router?

Regarding the Remote Access Config and to Enable Access Restrictions

Great suggestion, that means with VPN I don't have to enable Web access from WAN, correct? What is the best VPN server for Apple devices? IPSec? Would it be better OpenVPN? I will need access from iOS, iPadOS and macOS devices, so the client side app is as important as the actual VPN Server...

Regarding the Remote Access Config and to Enable Access Restrictions

Thank you, that will work only if you are accessing for a known place, where you know the IP in advance, but if you are traveling, you never know in advance what the IP will be.

That means there is no way to restrict Remote Access on a device basis?

Regarding the Remote Access Config and to Enable Access Restrictions

When connecting remotely (outside my house, remote WAN access) to the router I don't know what the IP address will be, but that's the only Access Restriction option, should the restriction should be a specific device MAC address based?

    AX86U constantly running at 85°C+

I think thermals are very sensible to the room temperature and devices connected to the Ethernet ports, my readings with 78C room temperature and no devices in the x4 LAN ports (using only the 2.5G port, for the backup WAN), are: 2.4G: 46C 5G: 49C CPU: 66C

What is the meaning of this Kernel message "Tainted"

Thank you, I haven't installed any third party modules, so I would assume that's part of Merlin's FW?

    AX86U thermals

I have moved to full wireless, 7-10C cooler will extend the life of the router and will increase the MTBF, thank you for all the insights.

    AX86U thermals

I am noticing this, I just plugged 2 printers, a TV and the Alarm system, and now it is running at 75C constantly, a big jump from 67-69C, is that a safe temperature? Even though not all devices are actively using the ethernet port, most but one, are idle

Very confusing selection buttons on ASUS AX86U

Why do you say DoS protection may cause issues? I have had mine enabled since day one, and I haven't noticed anything wrong, but I might be missing something, thanks

Does the WRT firmware has Memory Leak?

I have completely forgotten about SSH, I had the RT-5300 3 years ago, before I moved to a different brand, I am glad I am back with Asus.
