    I can say using this newest image there are some issues... and wireless is not stable... I wouldn't flash unless your willing to put up with these issues... and also have a plan if it does brick on you...

    I just noticed this post recently posted... If an open source driver is provided I don't see any reason why the community won't add support for this device... regardless if its Marvell or not.. Lets just hope what they provide is what is needed by the community...

    Yep I agree any router I've had has usually performed even better with custom firmware... and a few driver updates also tend to boost speeds as well... I'm on day 2 with mine.. and I love it... just can't wait for some custom firmware to appear..

    I have not used the r7000 but I was rather disappointed with the reset crashing on the 68u.. Wired connections were solid.. Some of the issues I had with the 68u were hardware related..     Also like to add... Through my entire house I get a full signal(almost never gets above -50dbm) even on 5Ghz... The best signal I get is -12dbm I am also able to easily max out my internet connection (50down/5up) I was testing with my Nexus 5 also with my Nexus 7

    I have the 68U and just picked up the WRT1900AC... I'm actually surprised how well this device is put together.. It's a very high quality device.. build wise... I love the LED's over the 68U.. I tested out USB and it works great.. only issue I had was I couldn't get the accounts/permissions...
