    Test When I use a Macbook Pro late 2014 with the AC protocol I get 242/92 (I have 250/100) so with those figures Im very happy. A big BUT though I use RMerlin 378.50_0 build Good Luck! Regards, Christian

    Thanks Hi, Thanks for your comments! :) I tried almost every channel and except for 36-44 my HP PC started to get lower numbers so now I use 44 and will test this for the next couple of days. I can already see that with a higher channel I get a higher throughput with IOS devices...

    Set custom channel 5Ghz Hi, I read that a higher channel could mean higher bandwidth for the wireless network, its that correct? I think my AUTO setting for 5ghz puts my Asus rt87u router to channel 36. The highest number I could choose is 112 but I have seen that some of you guys are using...
