Have NordVPN on router. Can I get a connection setup to bypass VPN?

Have you tried adding: route example.com 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.100; into the custom section? Obviously the address, subnet and IP needs to be edited with your info. You can add as many as you want.

    Need a networking guru please

I'm on Plusnet FTTC. I am 300 metres from the cabinet and get 74/17 on a 80/20 line. I have not flashed it with any firmware, I would need to check.

They are already in bridge mode out of the box. At least mine was and I bought it brand new.

    Need a networking guru please

The line stats your looking for are displayed in the UI of selected Draytek routers. I use a 130 with pfsense and I am unable to access it unless I directly plug into it. They are set up for plug and play for most UK providers. IE without the need to go into admin and mess with the settings.

wpa2 Amazon device unable to connect

I have found in the past some devices dont like to connect if the 2.4G and 5G password is the same. Try to set different ones to test.

    MU-MIMO USB ADAPTERS?

Does anyone know what chip is in the Linksys Lapac2600 AP? I was going to upgrade from a 1750 for the 4x4 MU-MIMO as I have a few machines running the Asus pce-ac88's. I cant seem to find any info on the Linksys site.

Should I setup a VPN server to access my IP Camera outside of the home network?

yeah sort of, you can just split into different subnets and isolate them so they cant talk to anything other than the servers for software updates ect.

Should I setup a VPN server to access my IP Camera outside of the home network?

I would isolate it on a VLAN and block LAN access. When you include both words together "cheap chinese", you cant be sure who has access to the servers.

Pfsense....use DNS Resolver and Forwarder at the same time?

Dear Xentrk, I was perhaps overcomplicating my thinking, which was sending me in circles. I have reached a soloution to my problem, I have ran numerous DNS checks on VLANS and it appears to be working fine. In resolver I specified just my main VPN for DNS to LAN and two of my VLAN's In...

Pfsense....use DNS Resolver and Forwarder at the same time?

I tried it and the US providers wouldn't stream. The problem I have is the UK Vpn is known as a server address so is blocked straight away.

Pfsense....use DNS Resolver and Forwarder at the same time?

Im using a residential VPN so, I know it cant be IP related. My UK stuff is pretty easy going and doesnt really matter. but I have to be careful with the US based stuff. As a result I am exclusivly using US DNS servers as quick fix until I can get it set up properly. I will point DNS to both my...

Pfsense....use DNS Resolver and Forwarder at the same time?

Thanks once again Xentrk. I have tried it like your set up and it does work, but I have issues with a few streaming providers that block as soon as a DNS from another country is detected. I have tried to replicate whats in the nguvu link but without success. He does indeed have a finely tweaked...

Pfsense....use DNS Resolver and Forwarder at the same time?

I am currently using two different VPN connections and am using DNS resolver with pfblockerNG. The VPN's are located in different countries (UK & USA) and I need to configure seperate DNS servers that reside in the corresponding countries. Is it possible to use DNS resolver for my UK VPN (and...

    Adding more NIC's pfsense

Thanks for all the advice. Appologies if this is a dumb question, but I thought it may be better to run VLAN's on seperate NIC's. Is there no degredation in performance to running...say five or six VLAN's off one NIC?

    Adding more NIC's pfsense

I wish to replace a dual NIC and add a couple of quad NIC's to my pfsense custom build. I have done a back up. If I add these will it just ask me to configure WAN and LAN again due to the miss match, thus being able to continue with my exsisting config? I want to avoid setting it up again as it...

Configure two clients to use different DNS pfsense?

Thanks to everyone that replied. I did in the end find a VPN with better performance. All my devices are being routed accroding to their needs. And DNS routed over TLS. Speed is good and zero buffering ect. Thank you.
