    Not yet, the main reason being is it didn't state about a fix for battery drain being included and I've stopped putting every new firmware on my router when it appears to be working fairly well for example on .9313 my router uptime is nearly 47 days now.

    I'm not sure you'll get far if you jump from a slowly maturing router to a brand new one, it is little more than jumping out of the frying pan and in to the fire.

    I wouldn't, the 87U is finally reaching a real level of stability and you'll probably have to go through periods of instability with a number of new options.

    I would do but for the moment the setup is currently using the homehub 5 as the router and 87U as AP, I've had to setup my preferred method (87U as router) quite a few times for testing proposes which takes quite a bit of work so I might be trying again this week and see what happens.

    Mine has been borked for ages, they said they can't replicate it...thus forced to use BT Home hub with 87u as AP.

    I've got the new nexus 6p and battery drain is even more incredible perhaps due to 2x2. I left it at home connected to WiFi and it plummeted from 93% to 40% with no use, I took it to work and used it with disabled WiFi and it only dropped to 80%.
