    yes i am aware of that but thanks for the warning, there are a couple of usb2.0 ac adapters but that is just ripping off the clients because they cant provide the full transfer speeds.

    Issue with voip and netgear wndr3700

    I currently have a wndr3700 which i flashed a couple of months ago with dd-wrt and i have since around the voip box (lingo) has static on the lines, i wondering if somehow the dd-wrt is blocking packets or doing something to reduce the quality of the phone calls, any ideas/help would be appreciated

    yes everything else continues to work, my desktop which is connected by cate5, my voip device its just the laptops which have the intels 5300's, actually i just had to reset it again like 5 mins ago its happens min 2 times a day

    switching it to 20mhz helped slightly its transfer around 150kbbs instead of 100 when at 40mhz, only flaw is that it changes the strength on closer items, for example the laptop i had closer to the router went from 300mbps to 130 mbps

    yes i am using WPA2/AES and 2.4 Ghz, i deactivated 5Ghz since i heard that longe range its worse than 2.4Ghz distance is about 70-80 feet speed with the verion router it was transferring around 200kbps and with dlink is around 100kbps
