Release ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24585 (2024/09/27)

Have apparently been using it for the last couple of days due to automatic updates, and noticed absolutely no change in performance or other issues, so thats always a win in my books. Shame about the recurrent issues in getting the 6ghz to work on both the router and the node at the same time...

Also disappointed in the frequency of updates on this top of the line router.

    ET12 6Ghz issue

I live in the United Arab Emirates, and according to that wiki post it says 6ghz is permitted with certain channels, am I reading that correctly? They certainly do sell other 6e routers here. Anything above channel 97 is not allowed, but I have been always running this at channel 85 and still...

    ET12 6Ghz issue

Thought I would bring this old thread up again. Have been coasting fine without 6ghz since originally bought the ET12. However, have had multiple different phones capable of 6e and now on the latest stable firmware, it simply doesnt show up in the devices. It's really strange. I have done the...

Beta ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 9.0.0.6.102.4856

That's the thing, all prior releases have some basic functionality that is broken, or unstable. From 6ghz not reliabliy working, to issues with the nodes disconnecting and such. Just poor effort considering the cost of this.

Beta ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 9.0.0.6.102.4856

Going to roll back. Gotta say I am super disappointed with this router and the support that Asus is providing. It's just a purely broken product.

Beta ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 9.0.0.6.102.4856

Seems stable so far. I just needed to upload the file manually to the node and then the router quickly after. Wait 10 mins and everything reconnected no problem. Quite relieved

What's the most current firmware for ET12

Ill be trying the original, because of connection issues to the 6ghz ssid, version 47636. So it's exactly like mentioned, whatever works for you with new stuff.

ZenWifi Pro ET12 Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra 6ghz connection problem on node

Similar issue here. Have the ET12 and no matter what I do, I cannot get the "router" (no matter which physical device I try - I have 2) to appear to broadcast a 6ghz signal. Says fine in settings, tried switching them round, resetting firmware, you name it. The node is the only one broadcasting...

Thank you for the suggestion, that is actually something I hadnt yet considered, so will give it a shot and see how it goes.

    ET12 6Ghz issue

I seem to have a strange issue with 6ghz. I've got my ET12's set up with wire backhaul, and no matter how hard I try, I cannot get the 6G band to broadcast on the router. On the node it works fine, and I can connect to it with my S21 Ultra no issues. Speeds are great, etc. However, when I try...

Wake On Lan Per HTTP/HTTPS ( Script )

Thanks fritsp! Can we specify more than one port using that script?

Wake On Lan Per HTTP/HTTPS ( Script )

fritsp did you figure out what needed to be added to the script in order to add in specific ports to the target IP aswell?

Wake On Lan Per HTTP/HTTPS ( Script )

I see, now that you explained it, I was able to wake the server using a WOL Wan/lan tool for android, which externally tried to wake the PC through port 9 which I forwarded. The script picked that up and the server started! :) I dont need to access anything on the server via 80 or 443 so will...

Wake On Lan Per HTTP/HTTPS ( Script )

Thanks for quick reply, so I havnt got any specific ports forwarded for just WOL yet, as I thought it didnt matter in this instance? Maybe I read the previous thread wrong :S I have some ports forwarded for different things, which other ports need forwarding to the server? Yeah it does wake...

Wake On Lan Per HTTP/HTTPS ( Script )

Hi guys, Im having trouble with this script. I have a HP Proliant that wakes from hibernation (Linux mint 13) fine when using the WOL on the tools page. Ive setup the jffs and scripts as per this guide but still, the machine will not wake when I, for instance, try to play on my PC some music...

    BIG UPDATE FW Version 3.0.0.4.220

Thanks for that, but what is the command for restoring from said settings.txt? Any way to import just the vts_rulelist part in to nvram when you upgrade/wipe the settings? Thanks again, linux noob here ;) (Although I did manage to set up a file server with mint 13 if that counts :P)

Asuswrt-Merlin - custom build of the Asus RT-N66U firmware

Just configure the computers that you want to connect to HMA to use it, and leave the router to just connect to the internet. There's no need to have a function on the router that will do this when it is all configurable on the PC's that you only want to use HMA. Edit: Just realised what you...
