    Static vs. dynamic doesn't make a difference Currently running some tests. In contact with Belkin Support.

    V1 / running 1.0.1.24 I do have a question. Do you have static IP's for laptops assigned in the router? Went back and connected the Belkin and did a factory default setting. Running without security and allowed dynamic IP for laptop.

    Went back to D-link DI-624+. No issues at all. Have found multiple threads on the internet on Belkin N+ with same problem. No solution found. Time to bring it back to the stores. Any advice on a good N/N+ router?

    Did a test: - laptop 2 meters away from router - security open - playing xvid movie connection drops out and only reconnects after switching wifi on/off.
