    Try adding router address to Web and Email > Protocol filtering > Excluded ip addresses.

    Thanks @RMerlin I ended up putting in an old Dynalink RTA1335 basic modem and the AC68 seems happy to 'talk' to that. I tried using the Vigor 2800 with PPoE/PPoA passthrough enabled and then setting the AC68 for PPoE mode and while this worked, my Internet connection became very intermittent...

    Did you ever resolve this as I just purchased a RT-AC68R and have the same damn issues? Won't see my WAN connection through either a Draytek 2800 or Netcomm modem but my existing EA6500 does. Have got it to work one time but going made rebooting and resetting this thing waiting for the WAN light...

    Thanks. This is indeed the answer if you run Nod 7.0. I added the default IP of the router and problem solved. Prior to this, after clicking two links, the GUI would lock up. FYI, I'm running W8.1 X64, FF 27.01 with Adblock plus, NOD 7.0.302.26. RT-AC68R with 3.0.0.4.374_4422 firmware. Tried...
