    Does the ASUS RT-AC68U still have USB 3.0 problems?

    With my Seagate external USB3 drive, writing the Windows 10 ISO (multi gigabyte file) I was seeing writes of around 60MB/s on both wired and wireless. Before installing Merlin's build, I think it was closer to 20MB/s. The R7000 did OK, but didn't hit 60MB/s using the stock firmware.

    Does the ASUS RT-AC68U still have USB 3.0 problems?

    It still has a switch to slow down USB3 as it can interfere with the 2.5GHz signal - I doubt that will get better (without going to an AC87 or other newer design). USB3 speeds are GREATLY improved moving to one of Merlin's build (I'm on the 374 fork.)

    Worth noting - my windows laptop was running 100mbit while wired. D'oh. I'll try to retest with a gigabit hookup.
