    How is using AIcloud on stock FW any better ? It is a problem , there are better options I guess I never liked any"cloud" I have had access to all my files from anywhere in the world for over 20 years with no problems .Don't have to worry about the 'cloud" going bye bye or my files being held...

    If you can deal with Openwrt great , sometimes it can be a handful plus if the router goes bad no Asus warranty , if router is EOL who cares go for it

    I'll go by what you say 3006 for the AX1100 pro is not ready for prme time . I trust your judgment on this .My router is stable and running well no complaints . Besides there are only so many hours in a day , you have a life enjoy it while you can ,rather you release a few stable FW THAN A LOT...

    did you reboot after loading Merlin ? Sometimes you get some strange things happen until you reboot , has happened a few times on my router when I forget to reboot
