[Diversion] failed to write /var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases: No space left on device

With logging enabled in diversion the logs are saved to /opt/var/log/dnsmasq.log and used to generate statistics. Just as a point of reference, my log files for the last 4 days (new logs are started weekly for stats on friday morning for me) are currently totaling 320mb. 500mb is not going to be...

[Diversion] failed to write /var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases: No space left on device

The issue here isn't a lack of swap, it is a lack of storage space on the USB device. Adding a swap file will only consume more space on said USB device. The solution is more likely to involve a USB device with more storage or freeing space on the existing device.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

Thank you for the response. Stubby is running on the router and the higher priority must be why I am not seeing much net control traffic in the monitor. Appreciate the info. Not that it would likely affect performance, but it makes me feel better knowing that secure dns queries aren't being...

    Stubby-Installer-Asuswrt-Merlin

Thank you for checking. Rebooting the router seems to have fixed it. DNSSEC disabled in firmware and no changes to the stubby config file. I did a reinstall but with the DNSSEC check still failing on that page, though Secure DNS continued to pass. After reboot the test is now passing again. Not...

    Stubby-Installer-Asuswrt-Merlin

I have noticed today that I am no longer passing the DNSSEC check at https://www.cloudflare.com/ssl/encrypted-sni/ However I am still passing checks on other resolver tests such as https://cmdns.dev.dns-oarc.net/ and https://dnssec.vs.uni-due.de/ and http://en.conn.internet.nl/connection/...

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

I recently started using stubby for DNS over TLS and noticed that DNS requests were no longer going into "Net Control". I have added the following custom rules for Cloudflare DNS to correctly route this traffic. I believe this should cover all traffic to the DNS servers be it standard DNS, DNS...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Just one is fine. There is currently no need for multiple partitions for diversion to function.

Fantastic work on this script, everything working as expected on my RT-AC68U. Passing all tests at https://www.cloudflare.com/ssl/encrypted-sni/ in Firefox Developer Edition after setting network.security.esni.enabled = true and network.trr.mode = 2.

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

uBlock Origin is the original uBlock extension, still maintained by the original developer. uBlock is a fork of uBlock Origin, perpetrated years ago in an attempt to defraud the original developer and monetize the extension by seeking donations and removing credit. No one should be using...

    [Preview 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 early test builds

RT-AC68U here on Alpha 1. Like others have reported I cannot upgrade firmware to alpha 2, nor downgrade back to 384.4. No USB devices attached, I have tried factory defaulting the device. Thanks, I'll try that when I have a chance.

Staus of TM-AC1900 upgrade to Asus Merlin

What firmware are you trying to flash? Have you downgraded the firmware to an older version?

UPnP - Multiple Xbox One Gaming Consoles & NAT

In theory it should only have to be on the second console, not both. The console running the older os version will use the default port, while consoles with the update can select an alternate port from the new dropdown in settings.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

I don't know much about homebridge or homekit, but it seems the default port homebridge uses is 51827, while homekit communicates with icloud on port 5223. Not sure this helps, but for example to make rules putting all traffic on ports 51827 and 5223 into the "others" container use the...

Potential problem RT-AC68U (originally TM-AC1900) and WiFi driver 6.37.14.126

Not to beat a dead horse, but I re-enabled WMM APSD and ran another series of tests this evening with 0% loss, so I don't think it really has any negative impact on my wifi performance after all.

Potential problem RT-AC68U (originally TM-AC1900) and WiFi driver 6.37.14.126

Yeah, I have noticed that as well, though never to the levels of low performance as some in this thread, I also edited my power profiles long ago to use high performance on wifi regardless.

Potential problem RT-AC68U (originally TM-AC1900) and WiFi driver 6.37.14.126

running a TCP test does not give me any information in terms of lost/transmitted packets which is why I haven't been using it.

Potential problem RT-AC68U (originally TM-AC1900) and WiFi driver 6.37.14.126

Good to know. I get the same results regardless of whether I put 100M or 200M for the -b value, which led me to assume any decently high value would work.

Potential problem RT-AC68U (originally TM-AC1900) and WiFi driver 6.37.14.126

iperf.fr is where I downloaded from, and you need one wired PC to act as server, on which you run iperf with the -s option to make it a server. Then on a wireless client you run iperf with the options -c <host ip> -u -b 200M. I don't think 2o0M is necessary, but definitely increase it above the...

Cool, also see my edit about the iperf command string if you missed it.
