What's the best way to handle wifi with concrete walls? I have ethernet ports throughout the apt but need to deliver wifi coverage too. I'd like to use wireless APs that are plugged into the ethernet ports which get their IP from the main router.

I can't. I can connect on other lower channels 36-48 without issue. The router only lists channels up to 48 though. These channels are also missing: Channel 52 : 5.26 GHz Channel 56 : 5.28 GHz Channel 60 : 5.3 GHz Channel 64 : 5.32 GHz

I can't connect with N on channels above 100 when I noticed the list of available channels doesn't align with the ones shown by Merlin. I don't understand this. Is it a Merlin upgrade issue? Merlin 5Ghz channels: ...149, 153, 157, 161, 165 stephen@machine:~/Documents$ iwlist chan vboxnet0...

I see dd-wrt is recently available for this router, not sure about tomato. Has anyone put any OSS of it yet?
